(Photo: Daniel Nee)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>As Traders Cove Marina becomes more popular with local boaters, one area of the market served by the facility is doing especially well.<\/p>\n<p>Township Administrator Joanne Bergin said Brick officials would add another six jet-ski slip to the marina this summer and investigate how to fit more into the facility, given the demand.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe sold out of them and we have a waiting list,\u201d said Bergin. \u201cWe figured that we may as well invest in a\u00a0some new ones.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The jet-ski slips are sold for $1,000 per season, meaning the new slips will generate $6,000 each year, forever.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would really like to see you spend more on this because it\u2019s a one-time cost,\u201d said resident George Scott, telling council members he spoke with the manager of the marina and said at least\u00a040 people would like to keep their watercrafts there. \u201cHe said he could rent out another 40 of them and, probably, still have a waiting list.
