Less than 48 hours after candidates met deadlines to register to run for their parties\u2019 primaries this week, door-to-door glossy signs and a website have emerged from the two candidates hoping to win the Republican nomination for mayor.<\/p>\n

The winner \u2013 party-backed Domenick Brando, a former council, and former council candidate Martin Ebert \u2013 will face incumbent Democrat John Ducey in November to lead the township.<\/p>\n

Brando\u2019s campaign delivered glossy postcards door-to-door Wednesday while Ebert launched a website titled MakeBrickGreatAgain.com<\/a>, a take on Republican President Donald Trump\u2019s campaign slogan last year.<\/p>\n

The Brando mailer says the candidate will \u201cmake Brick the safest city once again,\u201d cut taxes and \u201celiminate all political patronage jobs created,\u201d among a number of other bullet points. Ebert, on his website,\u00a0makes no campaign promises, but includes his biography, including his military service in the U.S. Air Force, top secret clearance and membership in numerous township organizations. Ebert currently owns a legal courier service.<\/p>\n
