(Credit: Google Maps)

Artis Senior Living, a Pennsylvania-based owner of memory care assisted living facilities, has proposed a 39,000 square foot facility for Brick, according to planning documents.

The company is seeking approval to build the facility on a wooded lot fronting Jack Martin Boulevard, near the intersection of Marlow Avenue, according to tax maps. It would be located next door to Chelsea at Brick, a separate senior living facility.

According to documents submitted to the township’s planning board, the building would be a residential facility, though the documents do not specify the number of beds that would be included – simply that the entire building would be 39,000 square feet in size. The project requires a number of variances before it can be approved, for minimum parking stall width, as well as for its setback to a nearby residential community. A 50 foot setback is required where less than 50-feet is proposed.

A few other minor setback variances are being requested, including relied on the requirement that a 20 foot setback or buffer is required between any right-of-way and a parking area, whereas a 12.5 feet setback within the buffer is proposed to Jack Martin Boulevard.

The project will be presented at the April 26 planning board meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. at the township municipal complex.

Artis Senior Living, a Pennsylvania-based owner of memory care assisted living facilities, has proposed a 39,000 square foot facility for Brick, according to planning documents…

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[2
2863,24,626,2862
post-10813","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-government","tag-artis-senior-living","tag-brick-nj-news","tag-jack-martin-boulevard","tag-memory-care
["GET
