How do we get this stuff done?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a non-scientific poll alongside a Shorebeat article earlier this week, 66 percent of those who voted said they would oppose the referendum spending if it appeared on a ballot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe don\u2019t have any money in this town,\u201d resident\u00a0Walter Campbell told board members at the meeting, suggesting the board looks into an ESCO program, under which projects at the schools would be funded through energy savings and other efficiencies rather than cash from taxpayers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s the only way to do it,\u201d said Campbell, a former board member who also served as a volunteer member of the board\u2019s facilities committee. \u201cYou don\u2019t have any other choice now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this spring, Brick officials <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shorebeat.com\/brick\/2017\/03\/brick-school-officials-believe-12-5m-in-repairs-are-needed-for-district\/\">laid out more than $12.5 million in repairs<\/a> that are needed district-wide. In a previous report from Shorebeat, it was reported that the $12.5 million in\u00a0repairs\u00a0would range from a $1,496,000 roof replacement for the Warren H.
