The Thursday, July 13 Brick Summerfest event has been postponed, officials said.<\/p>\n

“Due to extreme heat and the severity of predicted thunderstorms moving into the region, tonight\u2019s SummerFest concert has been postponed,” the township said in an announcement.<\/p>\n

A rain date will be announced as soon as it has been finalized.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This is the second week in a row the event has been postponed. Last week’s concert, starring Rubix Kube, will take place on Aug. 23. A new date for tonight’s concert, starring the Amish Outlaws (and featuring fireworks) has yet to be announced.<\/div>\n
