Hospital Staff attempted life saving measures with no success and Siler was pronounced dead at 8:21 a.m., Della Fave said.<\/p>\n<p>The Ocean County Prosecutor\u2019s Office Major Crimes Unit was sent to the hospital to conduct a death investigation, Della Fave, said, along with with members of the Brick Township Police Department and the Ocean County Sheriff\u2019s Department CSI unit.<\/p>\n<p>Siler\u2019s body\u00a0was transported to Community Medical Center where a post mortem examination was to be conducted, said Della Fave.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe investigation is ongoing at this time by the partnering agencies \u2026 pending the [medical examiner\u2019s] full report to include toxicology findings,\u201d said Della Fave. \u201cThere is no evidence to suggest that the decedent\u2019s death is connected to any criminal activity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The teen\u2019s death has been the source of rumors around town for several days.
