A Brick woman is missing, police said, and requested the public to be on the lookout.<\/p>\n

The missing person,\u00a0Nellie Llera, a 71-year-old white female, suffers from demetia and\u00a0left her residence on 20th\u00a0Avenue in Brick at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Brick Police Sgt. Neal Pedersen.<\/p>\n

She was last seen leaving her residence on foot wearing a blue and white striped shirt with black or Navy blue pants.\u00a0 She may, possibly, have a black purse. Llera is 4\u20199\u201d tall, 130 pounds with short auburn and grey hair.<\/p>\n

According to Pedersen, Llera had made a statement to a family member that she was going to go to New York City to the area of 125th\u00a0Street because her mother used to live there. Llera has wandered off in the past and has been located on previous occasions in Wall Township.<\/p>\n

She has not taken her medication and she also suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes. The attached picture of her in the striped shirt is the outfit she was wearing when she left the residence on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Anyone who may have seen her is asked to call\u00a0the Brick Township Police Department at 732-262-1100.<\/p>\n
