(Photo: TRPD)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>A Brick Township woman suffered minor injuries in a Toms River traffic accident Monday morning, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Police and medical personnel were called to the intersection of Bay and North Bay avenues at 10:28 a.m. Monday, said police spokesman Ralph Stocco.<\/p>\n<p>According to Stocco, Linda Hallock, 69, of Toms River was traveling east on Bay Avenue in her 2006 Nissan when she made a left turn in front of Virginia Chandler, 46, of Brick who was traveling west on Bay Avenue in a 2006 Chrysler.<\/p>\n<p>After Chandler\u2019s vehicle was struck it spun around and then struck an unmarked Toms River Police car operated by Detective Tom Grosse, who was stopped facing south waiting at a red light, Stocco said.<\/p>\n<p>Hallock and Chandler were both transported to Community Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Sgt.
