A former chain seafood restaurant will be turned into two independently owned eateries in the coming months.<\/p>\n

The owner of Tre<\/a>, an Italian-American bar in Freehold, and Rosalita\u2019s Roadside Cantina<\/a>, a Mexican restaurant in Englishtown, will open both restaurants in the space of the former Joe\u2019s Crab Shack in Brick Plaza and share the kitchen between them, Mayor John Ducey said.<\/p>\n

Ducey said the use of the single building will allow the liquor license to be used between both establishments, which have garnered a popular following in Monmouth County.<\/p>\n

Tre\u2019s Freehold location includes a bar filled with craft brews, brick oven pizza and classic Italian dishes, as well as outdoor fire pits. Rosalita\u2019s menu includes\u00a0fresh salads, giant burritos, tacos, enchiladas, sizzling fajitas and a \u201cfamous\u201d margarita selection.<\/p>\n
