(Credit: Google Maps)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Cedar Bridge Avenue in Lakewood will undergo an improvement project aimed at making the busy roadway safer, county officials announced this week.<\/p>\n<p>The roadway, which was recently cited as one of the area\u2019s most dangerous by the Ocean County Prosecutor\u2019s Office, will receive traffic light upgrades, safety islands in the center of the road, pedestrian improvements and a bike lane.<\/p>\n<p>The work will be completed between Vine Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive, County Engineer John Ernst said.
