The tax rate will increase by 1.9 cents per $100 of real estate valuation. For a resident with a home valued at $250,000, the township average, the municipal portion of their property tax bill will increase by $47.<\/p>\n<p>The municipal budget is separate from the Board of Education budget, which accounts for the bulk of residents\u2019 property tax obligations; the board <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shorebeat.com\/brick\/2018\/03\/brick-school-board-quietly-introduces-4-4m-tax-increase\/\">has introduced its own budget,<\/a> which will also be the subject of its own hearing Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p>The council meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the township municipal complex.
