(Credit: DonkeyHotey\/ Flickr)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Brick\u2019s Democratic and Republican organizations both elected municipal chairs and vice-chairs this week, party officials said.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shorebeat.com\/brick\/2018\/06\/former-running-mates-in-rift-over-leadership-of-brick-democrats\/\">highly-publicized contest<\/a> between Mayor John Ducey and Councilman Jim Fozman ended with Ducey emerging as the winner and new municipal chair. Robyn Gedrich, a recent appointee to the Brick Township Housing Authority board, will serve as vice-chair.<\/p>\n<p>On the GOP side, two former council members will become leaders of their party.
