(Photo: Daniel Nee)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Residents of Brick Township\u2019s Herbertsville section probably have noticed their new tall, shiny neighbor over the past few days \u2013 and many have been wondering what it is.<\/p>\n<p>The slim-yet-towering structure is a communications tower that will house a combination of Verizon wireless cellular equipment and emergency communications apparatus, said Kevin Batzel, director of the township\u2019s Bureau of Fire Prevention. It can be seen from both directions of the road, but especially from the west as drivers pass by the Maple Leaf Park complex.
