(Credit: Google Maps)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Ocean County has passed an ordinance setting aside funding for the reconstruction of Van Zile Road from Route 70 to the intersection with Burnt Tavern Road.<\/p>\n<p>The county included the project as one of the highlights of its capital budget. The freeholder board passed an ordinance authorizing the funds for the project earlier this month. The project is estimated to cost $2 million, which will be financed by way of $1.9 million in bonds.<\/p>\n<p>The reconstructed roadway will have a life of about 20 years.
