Woska, who was 63, died April 24 at his home.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He had profound positive impacts on the district\u2019s students, staff, faculty, and taxpayers, not only for his long tenure [as a board member], but in his many years since,&#8221; said Wohlrab. &#8220;The Brick community is forever grateful for his service, and efforts advancing Brick schools.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legacy.com\/obituaries\/mycentraljersey\/obituary.aspx?n=daniel-joseph-woska&amp;pid=192701228&amp;fhid=17125\">obituary published in the newspaper<\/a>, Woska worked as a civil engineer most recently for CCA Civil in Morristown. He was active at Visitation Roman Catholic Church in town, where he was a church school teacher for 33 years.<\/p>\n<p>The family requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at <a href=\"http:\/\/pancan.org\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">pancan.org.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Surviving are his beloved wife of 43 years Sandy; his sons, Daniel Joseph Jr., Kevin Michael, Eric Christopher and Justin Robert; his daughter, Breanna Elizabeth; his brothers, Robert, David and Joseph; his sister, Carol Reynolds; his two granddaughters and seven grandsons.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fcbkbttn_buttons_block\" id=\"fcbkbttn_left\"><div class=\"fb-share-button fcbkbttn_large_button \" data-href=\"https:\/\/shorebeat.com\/brick\/2019\/05\/former-brick-boe-president-woska-dies\/\" data-type=\"button_count\" data-size=\"large\"><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Daniel Woska, a longtime member of the Brick Township Board of Education and once served as its president, has died, officials said.
