A Brick Township massage therapist has been charged with sexually assaulting a client, the Ocean County Prosecutors Office announced Monday.<\/p>\n

Jonathan Higgins, 28, of Toms River, is facing a charge of sexual assault in relation to the alleged crime, which took place June 25, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n

According to prosecutors,\u00a0Higgins<\/span><\/span>, while employed as a massage therapist at<\/span><\/span> Hand and Stone <\/span><\/span>M<\/span><\/span>assage<\/span><\/span> & Facial Spa<\/span><\/span> in Brick Township<\/span><\/span>, \u201c<\/span><\/span>committed an act of penetration on a female customer\u201d during the course of a massage. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Higgins was <\/span><\/span>arrested and <\/span><\/span>processed at Brick Township Police Headquarters and transported to the Ocean County Jail where he is lodged pending a detention hearing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said he is\u00a0urging anyone<\/span><\/span> having information <\/span><\/span>or who feels they may be a victim to\u00a0<\/span><\/span>contact Detective Nicole Testa of the Ocean County Prosecutor\u2019s Office at 732-929-2027 or Detective Timothy McCarthy of the Brick Township Police at 732-262-1100.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
