(File Photo)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>November\u2019s school board election in Brick will feature six candidates vying for two seats on the board, which controls the school district\u2019s $155 million budget.<\/p>\n<p>Incumbents Melita Gagliardi and Daisy Haffner, affiliated with the group formerly known as the \u201cClean Slate\u201d team, are running to retain their seats under the \u201cMaking a Difference\u201d banner.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Robert \u201cRob\u201d Canfield and Cassidy \u201cCas\u201d Busa are running under the \u201cIt\u2019s Reform Time\u201d banner. Former board member John Barton is running independently, and newcomer Joseph Aulisi, known for his years of involvement with Brick high school football, is also running on his own.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for candidates to register to run in the November election was 5 p.m. Monday. A list of candidates was provided by the Ocean County Clerk\u2019s Office.
