(Photo: Daniel Nee)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Authorities are investigating a second homicide in as many months in Brick Township, this time the result of a stabbing.<\/p>\n<p>The Ocean County Prosecutors Office confirmed to Shorebeat that a homicide occurred early Sunday afternoon after a man was dropped off at Ocean Medical Center with a stab wound. He would later succumb to that wound. The incident occurred at the Brick Gardens apartment complex, located off Hooper Avenue, according to a person familiar with the case who asked not to be identified by name. Police were reportedly searching that area for evidence.<\/p>\n<p>The Ocean County Prosecutor&#8217;s Office&#8217;s Major Crimes Unit and Brick police are currently investigating several leads and attempting to interview family members and witnesses, said OCPO spokesman Bryan Huntenberg.
