As it sometimes happens, animals find themselves stuck with man-made problems \u2013 but in Brick, they were able to get some help.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LaureltonVeterinaryHospital\/\">Laurelton Veterinary Hospital<\/a> posted a video on social media Thursday showing two<span class=\"text_exposed_show\"> baby foxes stuck in a storm drain. The veterinary office did not announce the street, but said Brick Township Public Works and members of the Road Division immediately came to help when called.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201c<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">They spent a lot of time here trying to figure out the best way to get them back to their mom safely,\u201d the office said in its post.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The fox family had apparently been separated over the course of two days, but all ended well after township officials arrived.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">We are happy to report after the amazing men from the Road Dept came this morning to lift the grate and climb in to check that babies are<\/span> out!\u201d the post said. \u201c<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">They are safe with their mom and we cannot wait to see her with them walking in the woods again.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fcbkbttn_buttons_block\" id=\"fcbkbttn_left\"><div class=\"fb-share-button fcbkbttn_large_button \" data-href=\"https:\/\/shorebeat.com\/brick\/2020\/06\/a-little-help-from-their-friends-brick-public-works-helps-baby-foxes-out-of-drain\/\" data-type=\"button_count\" data-size=\"large\"><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some Brick residents may not realize that the township has a growing fox population, especially on the barrier island and near the marshy areas in the eastern sections of town.
