(Credit: jeff_golden\/Flickr)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>First Night Ocean County has become a New Year&#8217;s Eve tradition in Seaside Heights, and while the boardwalk won&#8217;t be bustling with events and attendees due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, officials are still planning some fun activities for kids.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s event will be held virtually on New Year&#8217;s Eve between 1 \u2013 4 p.m. Organizers didn&#8217;t want to spill the beans on the details, but plenty of fun is in store, they say. While the hours during which the event is open for participation are 1 \u2013 4 p.m, the minimum time you will need is around 30 minutes. You can take longer, though, as participation is at the pace you and your family set.<\/p>\n<p>The event involves a series of online puzzles and experiences and 100 (or more) participants will be lucky winners. The prize list and rules will be published at the <a href=\"https:\/\/exit82.com\/firstnight\/\">First Night website<\/a> closer to Dec. 31.
