Gerard \u201cJay\u201d Lampiasi completed his last day with the department Monday. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"d2edcug0 hpfvmrgz qv66sw1b c1et5uql oi732d6d ik7dh3pa fgxwclzu a8c37x1j keod5gw0 nxhoafnm aigsh9s9 d3f4x2em fe6kdd0r mau55g9w c8b282yb iv3no6db jq4qci2q a3bd9o3v knj5qynh oo9gr5id hzawbc8m\" dir=\"auto\">Lampiasi served in the department\u2019s Traffic Safety Unit for the past 18 years. He worked the road on patrol for seven years prior to that, in addition to serving for five years on the Special Emergency Response Team (colloquially known as the SWAT team). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"d2edcug0 hpfvmrgz qv66sw1b c1et5uql oi732d6d ik7dh3pa fgxwclzu a8c37x1j keod5gw0 nxhoafnm aigsh9s9 d3f4x2em fe6kdd0r mau55g9w c8b282yb iv3no6db jq4qci2q a3bd9o3v knj5qynh oo9gr5id hzawbc8m\" dir=\"auto\">Lampiasi also ran the department\u2019s Special Law Enforcement Officer Class I Police Academy for five years and was on the Ocean County Prosecutor\u2019s Office Fatal Accident Support Team. In addition to all this, he served on several boards and working groups that involved traffic and highway safety.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In the photo attached to this article, Lampiasi is pictured next to recently retired Special Law Enforcement Officer I Lt. Vinnie Sciarappa, who finished his 34-year career on Dec. 30, 2020. They include:<\/p>\n<div class=\"o9v6fnle cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql ii04i59q\">\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Ptl. Corey Rackliffe, a 29 year-old Army veteran, who has his Bachelor\u2019s in Criminal Justice from Kean University. He graduated from Brick Township High School in 2010.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Ptl. Jeffrey Maehl, a 31-year old Navy veteran, who has his Masters in Emergency Management from John Jay College. He graduated from Westfield High School in 2007.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Ptl. John Canterelli, a 24-year old who is still active in the Army Reserves and graduated from Brick Township High School in 2015.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Ptl.
