(Supplied Photo)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Brick Township\u2019s newest Wawa store \u2013 there is still another under construction and a third planned \u2013 opened Thursday on Route 70 and Duquesne Boulevard, the site of a shopping center that was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shorebeat.com\/brick\/2017\/12\/wawa-approved-by-brick-officials-for-route-70-site\/\">approved by the township\u2019s planning board<\/a> in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor John Ducey as well as council members Heather DeJong, Vince Minichino and Paul Mummolo attended the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the store, formally located at 535 Rt. 70.<\/p>\n<p>Wawa, according to township officials, gave back to the community by donating $1,000 to each of the following organizations: the Brick Township Police Department, The Brick Township Fire Department and POAC Autism Services.
