Sally Ike Road in Brick Township will be closed for a repaving project Thursday, township officials announced.<\/p>\n

The Ocean County Road Department will be milling and paving Sally Ike Road Thursday, according to Brick police. The road department will be working on a small section between Campbell Place and Constitution Drive between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. The road will be closed during those hours and detour signs will be in place. <\/span><\/p>\n

Crews will be closing the road for a second time between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to start the paving project in earnest. <\/span><\/p>\n

“Please plan accordingly and plan an alternate route,” the department said in its announcement.
