(Credit: NWS)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the bulk of the state, including Ocean County, calling for 1-3 inches of snow to fall overnight into Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The advisory will be in effect from 1 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Snow is expected with total accumulation between 1-3 inches, the advisory said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExpect slippery conditions on untreated roads and walkways,\u201d the advisory said. \u201cSlow down and use extra caution if driving.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The NWS forecast for the local area calls for a slight chance of rain before 1 a.m., then a chance of rain and snow between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m., after which the precipitation will change to all snow. Less than an inch of snow is expected to fall overnight.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, snow is likely before 1 p.m. It will otherwise be cloudy with a high of 35 degrees. Another inch or less of snow is expected during the morning and daytime hours.
