The high will be near 56. A south wind of 5 to 15 m.p.h. will turn east in the afternoon. Overnight, between 1-2 inches of rain will fall, the NWS forecast said. Winds will creep up to 25 mp.h.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday will likely see the worst weather of the weekend. It will be windy, with a northeast wind sustained around 30 m.p.h., with gusts as high as 50 m.p.h. or more, especially adjacent to the ocean and Barnegat Bay. Another three-quarters of an inch of rain are forecast to fall during the day Saturday. The conditions will continue into Saturday night, with the wind maintaining its power and another half-inch of rain falling. The overnight low will be 47 degrees. Showers are likely, mainly before 2 p.m., and it will otherwise be mostly cloudy, with a high near 50.
