After a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, Brick Township will revive its popular spring Green Fair this weekend at a new location.<\/p>\n

The event, which has become an annual tradition, brings together local environmental and civic groups for exhibits and presentations, includes demonstrations ranging from wildlife to electric vehicles, and showcases green products from local businesses. There are also prizes, food and fresh air.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve been considering trading in a gas-guzzler for a quick electric vehicle, this year\u2019s event will include an EV Ride and Drive opportunity presented by the Brick Township Green Team, the NJDEP Drive Green Initiative and Plug-In America. There will also be giveaways of reusable bags, bottles, utensils and straws as well as door prizes. Save Barnegat Bay and other marine-related organizations will be on hand with exhibits and experts.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Green Fair is a community-wide celebration designed to educate and encourage people of all ages, backgrounds and incomes to adopt a more environmentally and socially responsible lifestyle,\u201d an announcement of the event said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Admission is free. The fair will be held Saturday, May 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bob Anstett Cultural Arts Center (commonly known as the location of Haven\u2019s Homestead Museum), 515 Herbertsville Road.<\/p>\n
