Under Brick\u2019s form of government, the mayor is tasked with appointing the municipal court judge, but must obtain advice and consent from the governing body. Grisanti\u2019s reappointment passed unanimously.<\/p>\n<p>Grisanti\u2019s new term runs for three years, from Aug. 22, 2022 through Aug. 21, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Municipal court judges are considered employees of the township and are paid a salary of $135,928 per year, which is set by ordinance. Prior to first being appointed to the judgeship in 2016, Grisanti worked as an attorney in private practice and as a municipal prosecutor in several local courts.
