It will be sunny, sure, but AccuWeather.com is predicting a high of only 32 degrees. The National Weather Service has a slight bit of mercy: they’re forecasting a high of 34 degrees.

Regardless, the storms that rolled through the Jersey Shore on Monday will give way to a string of frigid days, well below the norm for November.

According to the National Weather Service’s forecast, after topping out at 34 degrees Tuesday, the low Tuesday night into Wednesday will dip down to 20 degrees. Tuesday will be a windy day, the weather service said, with winds gusting as high as 36 m.p.h. On Wednesday, the high is also predicted to be just 34 degrees, with the low between Wednesday and Thursday forecast to be 29 degrees.

The trend continues Thursday, with a forecast high of 45 degrees, and into Friday, with a high of 40 degrees.

Skies will be sunny all week, however, if that’s any consolation. There will be some clouds increasing during the day on Wednesday, however no precipitation is forecast.

According to a long range forecast from AccuWeather.com, the chill won’t break until next Sunday, when the mercury will reach 55 degrees. The temperature will rebound to a high of 61 for Monday, Nov. 24, the website predicted.

The bright icon of a shining sun after a rainy Monday didn’t do much to quell trepidation about Tuesday’s forecast.
