Jim Kelly said.<\/p>\n<p>Officers carried out the search at about 6 a.m. Monday morning within the Maple Leaf Park condominium complex off Herbertsville Road. The warrant was the result of a drug investigation by the Street Crimes Unit, Kelly said, and yielded an \u201cillegally possessed\u201d .40 caliber handgun, two high capacity magazines, ammunition, and over 100 grams of cocaine.<\/p>\n<p>The resident, Daryl Pierce, 50, was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), distributing a CDS, possession of a firearm during a drug offense, paraphernalia, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, unlawful possession of a weapon, high capacity magazines, certain persons not to possess firearms, possession of prescription legend pills, and possession of more than 6-ounces of marijuana.<\/p>\n<p>Pierce was lodged in Ocean County Jail.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fcbkbttn_buttons_block\" id=\"fcbkbttn_left\"><div class=\"fb-share-button fcbkbttn_large_button \" data-href=\"https:\/\/shorebeat.com\/brick\/2022\/11\/cocaine-firearm-seized-from-brick-condo-resident-arrested\/\" data-type=\"button_count\" data-size=\"large\"><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brick police executed a search warrant early Monday morning at a township condominium unit, seizing cocaine, an illegally-possessed firearm and other items, Sgt.
