Its proximity to Manasquan Inlet \u2013 without the task of transiting the Point Pleasant Canal \u2013 has earned it a reputation as an excellent option for anglers seeking to quickly get to the fishing grounds.<\/p>\n<p>The 2020 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shorebeat.com\/brick\/2020\/11\/brick-approves-three-new-building-in-marina-expansion\/\">approval was granted<\/a> after the marina appeared before the township\u2019s planning board to seek permission to construct three new buildings that would have been used for <span id=\"ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_PublicNoticeDetailsBody1_lblContentText\">boat storage, service and office space<\/span>. The buildings would have been constructed on the existing property with no expansion, and would have come in the form of three structures measuring about 10,000 feet each. The marina currently houses a single-story masonry building with a large area for boat storage in the rear of the building and a large parking area toward the east end of the property. There is also a bath house and swimming pool on the premises.<\/p>\n<p>The marina is seeking to use its new building to offer indoor boat storage, office space, and a ship\u2019s store.<\/p>\n<p>The revised plan would develop an almost identical footprint to the previously-approved expansion, however all of the services that would have been spread out among the three buildings will now be condensed into a single building with an area of 30,150 square feet. A maintenance building would also be added to an existing 2,800 square foot structure.
