The NWS predicts increasing cloudiness throughout the day Monday with a high of 40, along with light winds switching from the northwest to southeast as the day moves on.<\/p>\n<p>By the evening, wintry precipitation will begin to encroach on the region. According to the NWS forecast, there will be a chance of snow and sleet before 7 p.m., turning to a mixture of rain and snow \u2013 possibly mixed with sleet \u2013 between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. The precipitation is expected to turn to all rain after 10 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The overnight low will hover just above the freezing mark, at 34 degrees. It will also become breezy, with an east wind 15 to 20 m.p.h., with gusts as high as 30 m.p.h. The rain is likely to continue until about 1 p.m., after which it will be cloudy, with a high near 46 degrees.
