Residents hoping to engage with Brick Township police officers will have a chance to do so later this month, and those who live in three communities will have the opportunity to come out to a Neighborhood Watch meeting.<\/p>\n

\u201cCoffee With a Cop\u201d gives residents a chance to meet and chat with officers over a cup of coffee at the Brick Manhattan Bagel store on Thursday, March 23 from 10-11 a.m.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a great opportunity to ask questions, voice your concerns or just get to know some of the men and women who work everyday to keep Brick Township safe,\u201d an announcement said.<\/p>\n

Brick police will also be hosting Neighborhood Watch meetings in three communities. The program \u201cengages citizens who want to help keep Brick Township safe by educating them on what activities to be on the lookout for, when and who to contact in the PD and what information will assist our officers best for their follow-up investigations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Additionally, members of the department\u2019s Neighborhood Watch program stay up-to-date on what is happening in town via in-person meetings and monthly newsletters. Any resident can join the program and request to have a meeting for their neighborhood. The program currently has over 1,100 members.<\/p>\n
