Those in search of seasonal employment this summer have several options close to home in Brick Township. The township is seeking applicants for the following seasonal positions:<\/p>\n

Camp Counselor:<\/strong> Camp operates from June 26 to Aug. 1. Hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:30am to 2:30pm \u2013 weather permitting. Must be at least 15 years old. There will be a mandatory staff training day. Counselors must comply with all procedures, policies and practices. Counselors are responsible for overseeing campers ages 5-13. Must be able to supervise a variety of recreational activities. No experience necessary. Starting pay $14.13\/hour.<\/p>\n

Lifeguard:<\/strong> Must be at least 16 years old. Must be able to swim 500 meters and run 1 mile. Applicants must provide doctor\u2019s note and all paperwork prior to tryout. Tryout scheduled for May 10 at 3 p.m. at Brick Beach III. Training will be provided. Must be available for training prior to season start. Season is Memorial Day through Labor Day. Starting pay $16\/hour.<\/p>\n

Badge Checker:<\/strong> Must be at least 15 years old, and applicants must be courteous and responsible. No previous experience necessary. The season runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Work hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Starting pay $14.13\/hour.<\/p>\n

Windward Beach Maintenance:<\/strong> Must be at least 16 years old. Responsibilities include park maintenance, litter clean up, building maintenance, cleaning and other various duties. Must comply with all safety standards. Must be responsible and dependable. Starting pay $14.13\/hour.<\/p>\n
