(Courtesy: Brick Superdome)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>More significant modifications to the site were approved in May, when the township\u2019s planning board gave the go-ahead for the site\u2019s developer to expand the width of the domed portion of the complex by 10-feet, allowing for enough space to host regulation fields for multiple sports.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cdome\u201d complex will actually consist of two buildings: the \u201cbubble\u201d like structure that will represent a playing field for various athletic activities, as well as a traditionally-constructed building that will house basketball courts and a number of other sports and fitness features and amenities, plus an outdoor volleyball court. The hard-built structure will remain the same size as originally proposed, but the dome will grow from 68,400 square feet to 72,000 square feet in area.
