Victoria Finelli said Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation was the result of a tip to Brick police reporting that Gerundo was in possession of child pornography. On Oct. 2, 2023, detectives from the Brick Township Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor\u2019s Office High-Tech Crimes Unit went to Gerundo\u2019s residence to execute a court- authorized search warrant.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the warrant, detectives seized 21 electronic devices from the residence, Finellii said. A forensic examination of the electronic devices by the prosecutor\u2019s office led to the discovery of \u201cmore than 1,000 images and videos depicting child pornography,\u201d Finelli said.<\/p>\n<p>On November 3, 2023 Gerundo surrendered himself at Brick Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and transported to Ocean County Jail.
