The Ocean County Prosecutor\u2019s Office is seeking the public\u2019s help in locating a man who is accused of false identification to purchase<\/span><\/span> a Rolex watch in Point Pleasant Beach earlier this summer. His photo is attached to this story.<\/p>\n

The Rolex, valued at $8,774, was purchased at Gold Fever on Arnold Avenue June 22, said Al Della Fave, spokesman for the prosecutor\u2019s office.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe man provided the shop sales person false identification to purchase the watch and the credit card company ultimately reversed the transaction<\/span><\/span>,\u201d Della Fave said.<\/p>\n

Once located, the individual is facing charges of theft and possible identity theft, Della Fave said. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Anyone who can identify or provide information regarding the man\u2019s whereabouts is being asked to contact Detective Lindsay Llauget at 732-929-2027, ext. 3462. All provided information will be kept strictly confidential, said Della Fave.
