A Brick Township-based tour group is offering a small number of seats remaining on their planned trip to Acadia National Park in Maine and several locations in Nova Scotia, including Prince Edward Island, Peggy\u2019s Cove and the capital of Halifax.<\/p>\n

The tour group, led by local resident Liz Barry and her \u201cLucky Lizzy\u201d Tours, will depart from Point View Road in the township\u2019s Herbertsville section (address and more information in the flyer below) May 29 for the trip that will last through June 6. The cost of the trip is $1,599 per person based on double occupancy and includes transportation, hotels, some meals and several tours.<\/p>\n

  • Day 1:<\/strong> Depart your group\u2019s location in a spacious, video and restroom equipped motorcoach as you head for your destination: Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, & New Brunswick, Canada! This evening, you will check into your hotel in Maine for a two night stay.<\/li>\n
  • Day 2:<\/strong> Start the day with a Continental Breakfast before you depart for Bar Harbor, Maine. Enjoy this beautiful downtown waterside district for free time and shopping. Afterwards, you\u2019ll head to the famous, impressive ACADIA NATIONAL PARK for a Guided Tour. This 47,000-acre Atlantic coast recreation area is primarily on Maine\u2019s Mount Desert Island. This evening, you will have Dinner before returning to your hotel.<\/li>\n
  • Day 3:<\/strong> After enjoying Continental Breakfast, you will head for NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA. You will have Dinner and later check into your HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA area hotel for a two night stay.<\/li>\n
  • Day 4:<\/strong> Start the day with a Continental Breakfast before enjoying a full day GUIDED TOUR. This fabulous tour includes Nova Scotia\u2019s Capital City of HALIFAX, PEGGY\u2019S COVE, and LUNENBURG. Peggy\u2019s Cove, home to the most famous lighthouse in all of Canada, is a highlight of the tour. Old Town Lunenburg is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Seventy percent of the original colonial buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries continue to greet visitors with their colorful fac\u0327ades. Today\u2019s visit also includes a stop at the beautiful HALIFAX WATERFRONT. This evening, enjoy Dinner before heading back to your hotel.<\/li>\n
  • Day 5:<\/strong> Enjoy Continental Breakfast, then head towards PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND. Upon arrival, you\u2019ll meet a Guide for an orientation tour of CHARLOTTETOWN, the Capital of Prince Edward Island. Later, you\u2019ll have some free time. This evening you\u2019ll have Dinner, and check into your hotel in preparation for a great day on Prince Edward Island.<\/li>\n
  • Day 6:<\/strong> Start the day with a Continental Breakfast before your GUIDED TOUR OF PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND. Your tour includes picturesque rural villages, gently rolling pastures, and the beautiful contrast of colors provided by deep red soil and the whitecaps on the waves. Visit the world famous GREEN GABLES HERITAGE SITE based on the world-famous novels written by L.M. Montgomery. Step back in time as you visit the home of fictional character Anne of Green Gables, stroll through Lover\u2019s Lane or the Haunted Woods. Then you will have Dinner and head back towards New Brunswick, Canada to check into your hotel.<\/li>\n
  • Day 7:<\/strong>\u00a0 Today, after enjoying Continental Breakfast, you\u2019ll depart for the famous HOPEWELL ROCKS, where you will meet a Guide. Explore these huge rock formations standing between 40\u201370 feet tall, which were caused by tidal erosion. Next, you will enjoy a relaxing Lunch. Afterwards, you will drive to the Waterside Town of SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK. A Tour Guide will show you sights such as the Reversing Falls Rapids, the City Market, and views of the Bay of Fundy, while you learn the history of Canada\u2019s oldest incorporated city. Later, enjoy Dinner and check into your hotel.<\/li>\n
  • Day 8:<\/strong> Start the day with a Continental Breakfast before heading to KING\u2019S LANDING HISTORICAL SETTLEMENT. Enjoy a tour of one of Canada\u2019s premier tourist attractions, King\u2019s Landing is a living history museum with original buildings from the period of 1820 \u2013 1920. Then, you will head to your hotel in Maine for the evening.<\/li>\n
