(Credit: Alan Levine\/Flickr\/File Photo)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Brick officials are soliciting bids to pave three streets in the township\u2019s Herbertsville section.<\/p>\n<p>The township council voted last week to seek proposals that would improve North Lake Drive, Olive Court and Vista Court. All three streets are located off Maple Avenue, which connects to Herbertsville and Burnt Tavern roads.<\/p>\n<p>According to the resolution passed by the council, the work will include milling and paving of the roadways, and work on driveway aprons, curbs and sidewalks where necessary, plus drainage improvements.<\/p>\n<p>Once bids are returned and a contractor is selected, officials will host a pre-construction meeting to determine when the work will be completed, and residents will be notified beforehand.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In a separate resolution,<\/strong> the council reduced the amount spent on another repaving project in town. Lower-than-expected costs resulted in the township decreasing its contract to pave Courtshire Drive by $5,924.
