Nevertheless, a rip current advisory, high surf advisory and coastal flood warning all remained in effect Friday despite better weather. Also, notably, Brick\u2019s beaches are in the midst of undergoing a replenishment project, with equipment having remained staged on the beach during the storm itself.<\/p>\n

According to statements from the National Weather Service, the high surf advisory would remain in effect until 8 p.m. Friday, the coastal flood warning until 2 a.m. Saturday, and the rip current warning through Saturday night. For the High Surf Advisory, the NWS is forecasting large breaking waves of up to 5 feet in the surf zone. For the High Rip Current Risk, \u201cdangerous\u201d rip currents are expected.<\/p>\n

For the Coastal Flood Warning, one to two feet of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways were forecast.<\/p>\n

Otherwise, fair weather has returned. The NWS is calling for sunny skies, north winds 10 to 15 m.p.h. and a high of 76 degrees.<\/p>\n
