A lucky shopper at a ShopRite supermarket in Toms River is $50,000 richer after their ticket won a runner-up prize in this week\u2019s historic Powerball lottery game.<\/p>\n

According to state lottery officials, a ticket worth $50,000 was purchased at the ShopRite store at 860 Fischer Boulevard. Though not located in Ocean County, another runner-up ticket worth $50,000 was purchased at the Howell Corner Store, 2989 US-9, in Howell Township.<\/p>\n

The numbers drawn Wednesday were 03, 16, 29, 61, 69 <\/strong>and the Power Ball was 22. <\/strong>The multiplier was 02. <\/strong>No player in the multi-state game matched all five white balls and the gold Power Ball. However, eight New Jersey players matched four white balls and the Power Ball to each win $50,000.<\/p>\n

The jackpot has now reached $1.7 billion, which would represent the third-highest lottery payout in American history. The secondary prize streak continues the success for New Jersey Lottery players in the 41 drawings since the current Powerball run began after a California player hit the last jackpot. Since May 31, 1.6 million New Jersey residents have won prizes. Among those, 50 Garden State players have won prizes of at least $50,000. That list includes four $1 million payouts, one $300,000, one $150,000 and five $100,000.<\/p>\n

The next drawing is Saturday and will be the 42nd, now the longest run in game history. The drawing is conducted from the Florida Lottery studio in Tallahassee and is shown on YouTube at 10:59 p.m<\/a>.<\/p>\n
