(Credit: NWS)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The latest coastal storm to affect the Shore area has brought with it two advisories from the National Weather Service.<\/p>\n<p>A coastal flood advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. Thursday, with forecasters calling for up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. At this level, flooding begins on the most vulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities, and along inland tidal waterways. Some partial or full road closures are possible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpotty moderate flooding is possible in the back bays of Barnegat Bay in New Jersey with Thursday evening\u2019s high tide cycle,\u201d the National Weather Service said in an advisory statement.<\/p>\n<p>Locally, Thursday\u2019s PM high tide will occur at 6:27 p.m. in Barnegat Bay in Seaside Park, and at 7:15 p.m. at the Mantoloking Bridge. The ocean high tide will occur at 2:17 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, a wind advisory will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday. The NWS is calling for east winds 25 to 35 m.p.h. with gusts up to 50 m.p.h. expected. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects, the advisory notice said. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.<\/p>\n<p>The current forecast calls for the Ocean County area to receive about three-quarters of an inch of rain during the day Thursday, with another quarter-inch or so falling at night. Thursday\u2019s high will be 64 degrees, with the overnight low dipping to 51 degrees. Friday will see a return of sunny skies, but a chill in the air with a high temperature of just 57 degrees.
