As an adult, Gene-Ann spent several years living in California and Jackson, N.J., before moving to Brick, approximately 35 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>She is best known for her tenure as president of the Brick Township Chamber of Commerce and also served as a long-time member of the organization\u2019s executive board. She was also an associate member of the Vietnam Veterans of America and a past president and current member of the Brick Morning Rotary.<\/p>\n<p>Professionally, Pesano was Head of Programming at Johnson & Johnson and PerkinElmer for many years, followed by several years as an independent software developer and engineer. Most recently, prior to her retirement, she was a private financial advisor. After retirement she formed and managed a non-profit organization, Circles of Love, supplying children\u2019s clothes, which were shipped worldwide to developing countries. She was also known to enjoy bowling, skiing and needlework.<\/p>\n<p>According to the obituary, she is survived by her husband Philip Pesano; her two children Matthew Bloomberg and his wife Teresa, and Douglas Bloomberg; and stepson, Jim Williams. She is also survived by her four siblings David Perry, Michael Perry, Terry Adler, and Kevin Perry. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Andrew Bloomberg and Maya Williams, \u201cboth of whom she loved dearly and was fiercely proud of them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Services are planned Friday, January 30, 2026, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, N.J. In lieu of flowers, the family asks a donation be made in her name to the Tunnel To Towers Foundation at T2T.org.<\/p>\n<p>~<\/p>\n<p><strong>Editor\u2019s Note:<\/strong> We extend our most sincere condolences to Gene-Ann\u2019s family and closest friends.
