The Seastreak ferry, best known for carrying commuters to New York City, made a test run into Manasquan Inlet ahead of the <a href=\"https:\/\/seastreak.com\/ferry-routes-and-schedules\/between-new-york-city-point-pleasant-beach-nj\/\">launch of its new service<\/a> carrying tourists to the Jersey Shore for the summer season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is one service that we\u2019ve wanted to provide for quite some time,\u201d said James D. Barker, President of Seastreak. \u201cGetting from Manhattan to the Jersey Shore in about an hour and fifteen minutes changes the equation entirely. (Credit: Seastreak)<\/p><\/div>\n<p dir=\"auto\">The ferries will dock at a slip at 49 Inlet Drive in Point Pleasant Beach, just around the \u201ccurve\u201d of the inlet at Loughran Point, adjacent to Red\u2019s Lobster Pot restaurant and the U.S. Coast Guard Station near the commercial fishing docks. Round-trip tickets are $99 for adults and $59 for children. Bikes or non-electric scooters cost an additional $10 one way or $20 round trip; electric versions are $20 one way or $40 round trip.
