A man was taken to a trauma center after a crane toppled in Point Pleasant Beach on Monday.<\/p>\n

The crane was lifting a clam dredge at the dock at 301 Channel Drive when it overturned, Jerry Meaney, a Point Pleasant EMT, posted on a social media page he runs.<\/p>\n

One person was injured in the accident and was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. The crane operator was thrown to the ground, Meaney said.<\/p>\n

There was no word on the condition of the man who was injured.<\/p>\n
