(Credit: NWS)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Ocean County, from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The advisory calls for between 1 and 2 inches of snow to fall during the day Tuesday, with the steadiest snowfall occurring between the hours of the morning commute to midday. The snow will taper off and become scattered by early afternoon, according to the advisory.<\/p>\n<p>The storm\u2019s hazards include slippery roadways and reduced visibility during Tuesday\u2019s morning rush hour. Temperatures in the 20s will allow snow to accumulate on untreated roadways, the advisory said.<\/p>\n<p>After the snow ends, temperatures will continue to plummet, according to a weather service forecast. It will be mostly cloudy Tuesday night with a low around 20 degrees.
