Cook Jr., 30, of Point Pleasant Borough, was indicted on charges of aggravated manslaughter and vehicular homicide in the March 9 head-on collision which killed Jane C. Eager.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of the accident, police said Cook was drunk when his 2008 Honda swerved over the center line of the road between Colonial and Meridian drives and hit Eager&#8217;s car head-on. Eager was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred at about 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Cook is currently free on bail. He was initially charged with vehicular homicide and drunk driving, which carries a 10 year-long prison term.
