It is likely that central and northern Ocean County will fall directly on the rain-snow line, complicating the forecast.

The National Weather Service issued forecast maps Friday that depicted Brick Township straddling the line between 3-4 inches of snow and 2-3 inches of snow.

Dan Skeldon, a meteorologist for The Press of Atlantic City, said on his Facebook page that the rain-snow line will fall somewhere in the area of Philadelphia eastward to Ocean County.

“Just north of the rain/snow line will see heavy snow, just south sleet/rain,” said Skeldon. “Yet another difficult forecast call.
