(Credit: NWS)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Single-digit overnight temperatures will give way to a high just around freezing Saturday, with some snow and rain in the picture as well, prompting a winter weather advisory to be placed into effect.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, the 2015 Polar Plunge Day in Seaside Heights, will see temperatures rising from single-digits in the morning to a high of 34 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Bands of snow will move in after 12 noon, the NWS forecast says, with accumulations of 1-3 inches possible before the precipitation mixes with rain in the evening hours.<\/p>\n<p>By 10 p.m. Saturday, the mix will turn to all rain as the temperature rises to 41 degrees by 1 a.m. Sunday. South winds will increase to 11-18 m.p.h. On Sunday, a chance of rain will remain, with a high near 40.
