Henry Drew.\u00a0The victim, a 39-year-old man\u00a0from Toms River, was injured when the boat he was working on caught on fire, Drew said. The man\u2019s name is not being released by authorities.<\/p>\n<p>A landing zone was set up at the old Foodtown site on Route 70 in Brick, where the victim was picked up by the MONOC 1 medevac helicopter for transport to Saint Barnabus Burn Center in Livingston, Drew said.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives from the Brick Township Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutors Office are on scene along with the Brick Township Fire Safety Bureau. OSHA was also notified and is responding to assist with the investigation, Drew said.<\/p>\n<p>Kevin Batzel, director of the Brick Township Bureau of Fire safety, said the explosion appeared to be a \u201cflash\u201d of some sort.
