(Credit: Google Maps)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>An Irish Pub style bar and restaurant will move into the former Simko&#8217;s Bar and Grill location on Brick Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p>The township council recently approved a liquor license transfer from Simko&#8217;s to Mayo4Sam, LLC, which is connected to Blackthorn Irish Pub. A business by that name <a href=\"http:\/\/blackthornpub.com\/kenilworth\/\" target=\"_blank\">operates in Kenilworth<\/a>, Union County, but the restaurant did not respond to a request for comment as to whether they were behind the Brick location.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant opening in Brick would be called P.J. Sweeney&#8217;s. A sign in front of the building is now advertising an Irish pub-style bar and restaurant opening soon there. On its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/PJ-Sweeneys-Restaurant-Irish-Pub\/853657184717180\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook page<\/a>, the restaurant&#8217;s staff said it would be opening in June or July.<\/p>\n<p>Simko&#8217;s, an American bar and restaurant, closed last year.
